As a child of a poor working-class family growing up in impoverished East Los Angeles, California. I experienced first-hand how attitude, culture, conflict, and communication held people back; caused enormous sorrow and anguish in their personal and professional life. Add to that my personal pain of watching a close family member have nervous breakdowns.
I wanted so badly to help. I dreamed that one day, I could really help my loved ones and those around me.
